Cristina J. Bianchi is a Department Managing Attorney at Vernis & Bowling of Miami, P.A. She practices and handles matters related to First and Third Party Property and Casualty Claims.
Cristina was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Florida International University in 2011. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2017, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Cristina was a member of the Trial Team (Vice President of Communications and 2nd Place Finalist at the 2016 Honorable Earl E. Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition) and received the CALI Book Award for Legal Writing and Research and Advanced Legal Writing and Research. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Law Review, Student Bar Association, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Cristina began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office where she represented indigent clients in juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases from client intake through disposition. Throughout her career as an Assistant Public Defender, Cristina litigated numerous bench trials, jury trials, and evidentiary motions in criminal court.
Subsequently, Cristina joined one of the top law firms in South Florida where she gained extensive experience litigating insurance defense claims. She has had several years of experience defending insurance carriers with their residential property claims.
One of the things that Cristina enjoys about being a lawyer is that she can positively impact people’s lives by zealously advocating for her clients and achieving favorable outcomes.
Outside of work Cristina likes to travel, exercise, watch Miami sports, and spend time with her family. She is also a true crime enthusiast.
