Harrison A. Hanks was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. After receiving his B.A. in liberal arts from Auburn University, Harison earned his J.D. from Mercer University School. While in law school, Harrison interned at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, working on several high-profile RICO cases under District Attorney Fani Willis and Assistant District Attorney Will Wooten. Following passage of the Georgia Bar Exam, Harrison began his practice representing individuals in the field of family law in a firm located out of Dunwoody, Georgia. Harrison made the switch to the civil defense side where he uses his prior experiences in handling highly stressed and complex civil matters, both inside the courtroom and out to assist clients in their respective cases.
Harrison’s calling has always been to tackle head on a wide variety of challenging cases and to help others during uncertain and confusing times. Harrison learned that law was his passion from his mentor, a renowned attorney and judge located in his hometown of Phenix City, Alabama. Harrison’s approach has always been to treat clients with the upmost care and concern, and to steadfastly give his honest thoughts and opinions in order to reach the client’s ultimate goals of the best legal outcome.
Harrison currently resides in metro Atlanta where he enjoys working out, writing poems and his novel (should that ever get finished), being outdoors and exploring nature’s wonders.
