Nina Winni is a licensed member of the Florida Bar and an associate attorney at the firm’s Hollywood office. Ms. Winni’s practice primarily focuses on the defense of first-party property cases, defending insurance companies against first-party coverage litigation including wind, water, hurricane, roof, storm, and plumbing claims, as well as third-party general liability claims.
Ms. Winni attended Florida International University College of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. While at FIU, Ms. Winni founded the College of Law’s Broward County Bar Association chapter to promote networking for students in the Broward area.
Prior to law school, Ms. Winni received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a Minor in Women’s Studies from Florida State University. At Florida State, she was part of the Honors College and was admitted to the esteemed Honors Legal Scholars Program. Ms. Winni also performed research for deafblind children through the university’s Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program and presented her findings at multiple conferences throughout the state of Florida.
Outside of the law, Ms. Winni’s interests include reading, writing children’s books, painting, and caring for animals.
