Turner was born in Montgomery, Alabama and grew up on a farm in nearby Eclectic, where his family bred, raised, and trained horses. After graduating summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2018, Turner moved first to Birmingham, Alabama and then Atlanta, working with museums as a program administrator. Turner attended law school at Georgia State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2024.
While in law school, Turner worked as a legal intern with a publicly traded air and ground logistics company. During this time, Turner gained experience with premises, trucking, and discrimination claims, and worked with risk management and contract services. Turner also worked with a Decatur-based estate planning firm specializing in special needs trusts and Medicare planning during this time.
Turner joined Vernis & Bowling’s Atlanta office in his second year of law school as a clerk. After passing the bar, he immediately began work as an attorney there after being licensed and sworn in to the Georgia Bar. Turner believes in the rule of law and works hard to guide his clients through complex and often confusing situations that arise in the world of civil litigation. In his time at Vernis & Bowling, he has participated in a wide range of matters, including automobile liability, trucking, premises liability, products liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist defense, Title VII discrimination, and ADA discrimination claims among other areas.
Turner and his wife reside in metro Atlanta, where he enjoys his two pets, skeet shooting, cooking, and being a Falcons season ticket holder.
