As we celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States, we recognize there is still more work to be done. As attorneys, we take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. In doing so, we cannot be silent when we see injustice. Vernis & Bowling stands with our black colleagues, clients and community members who have suffered from racism and oppression.
Vernis & Bowling takes pride in our racial, ethnic and religious diversity composition within our attorneys and staff. Each of our offices reflects the diversity and makeup of the regions we serve. Our organization was built upon teamwork and equal opportunity. We will continue to do our part in creating, supporting and developing opportunities for black, brown and other minority individuals.
We see you. We hear you. We stand with you.
